The vast majority of conspiracy 'theories' are just that and there's little to them. The political assassinations of the 1960s, on the other hand, have mountains of evidence to support the theory they were done at the behest of the powerful elite who refused to give up the power they'd acquired since the death of FDR. To address Jesse's critiques of Obama: well, the Democrats DID eventually get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Yes, there are battles raging in the Middle East and Ukraine, but these were not US-initiated actions. That said, I've liked Jesse for a long time. I respect his genuine beliefs even when I do not agree with lots of them, because I think he's an honest person.

I really miss Joan. My mother adored her and loved when she hosted Carson... or did anything. Joan was one of a kind. Johnny, eh.... So...he was a human. Complicated and with fame and fortune. Go figure. Just because he was famous doesn't mean we all should know about his personal life. A womanizer? Really? Like most men of that era. People love Jack Kennedy and well ..guess what...massive bushmaster. Not excusing it and no necessarily condemning. Who the hell am I to judge. Sounds like he was trying to find the love he mother couldn't give him. What I do know is....he was the GOAT at what he did. His best talent of many, was to make his guest look as best as they could. He changed the lives of so many people and their careers and...he was never mean or judgemental. So much unlike the idiots doing the same job now. Late night is just hidious now. Unfunny, mean and judgemental. Horrible. Millions of people, after a long day put their troubles aside for an hour before ending their day and....laughed. What an amazing gift to share. Thats what I know.

I’m extremely disheartened. This is never going to stop. Radical conservatives have played the long game. They have used their churches and “private social gatherings” to raise loads of money to support the shaping of views. They have enticed many power hungry greedy pple (who care more about money than people) to feed into & support their agenda of absolute control. Forget about democracy or decorum, fairness…they don’t give af about any of that, they want a theocracy. And the scary thing is, there are hoards of young conservatives who have been thoroughly groomed by the melding of religion & politics at the pulpit, in their private Christian schools & thru Fox News pumping propaganda into their homes 24/7. We are f-ing doomed
